The German-Austrian mission was discontinued 1 Jan. 1938,
and the mission area was transferred to three other missions:
- WEST GERMAN
- EAST GERMAN
- SWISS AUSTRIAN
The CZECHOSLOVAK mission, which had been split from the
GERMAN AUSTRIA mission on 24 July 1929, was closed on 6 April
1950. It was not reopened until 1 July 1990, when it was
reopened as the CZECHOSLOVAKIA PRAGUE mission.
