BYU for 2 semesters then went to work for my father and grandfather in family machineshop business. Broke off with my Dad who purchased Traffic Signal Hardware and then founded Tolman Tool Mfg. (Mfg. rebar cutting tools) currently own with my brother as partner: Traffic Signal Hardware, Tolman Tool Mfg., Cardinal Tool and D&G Products, Inc.
I married the former Monika Sabutsch of Klagenfurt, Austria in July of 1978. We have three children and two grandchildren:
Eva (1979) graduated from CSUF in German and married Mathew Robins of Holiday, UT in 2000 and they have two girls Abigail (2003) Katherina (2005)
Markus (1981) served a mission in Frankfurt and graduated BYU in German and married the former Lydia Jakob of Zolikofen, Switzerland in May 2005. They currently live in Chino, California. No children...yet!
Andreas (1986) serving a mission in Zurich, Switzerland...due home December 2007.I am currently serving as Teachers Quorum advisor and have had callings in Elders Quorum, Sunday School, been YM President twice and Scoutmaster twice...also taught early morning seminary for two years...(Argh!)
I love to sail (member Marina Sailing Club Newport Beach) and fish (Tuna, Mahi Mahi, etc.) sing barbershop (I have 3 Gold Medals with the Masters of Harmony!) and currently sing with the Southern California Mormon Choir. I just bought my first Harley Davidson (2004 Softail Custom) and now can be seen cruising California foothills and beaches! (Monika looks really cute on the back!)
