Served under President Morrell from 1982 to 1984.

Married the first girl I went out with when I got home. Love at first sight. We have 6 kids (5 girls, 1 boy) from 8 to 18 years old. You can see some pictures in the facebook link above.

After graduating from BYU in 1987 we went to Boston where I worked at Bain & Company and Bain Capital with Mitt Romney. Then to business school at Harvard, graduating in 1992. Then to Dallas, also with Bain. Then to Utah to do software and internet startups where we've been since 1994 except for 2006 when I was head of corporate strategy at eBay's PayPal. I'm currently working on a new company that makes devices that use light to treat skin conditions. see: http://www.lumiport.com

I like reading, research, water and snowskiing, sunny vacations with my wife and playing with my kids.

My mission was a great experience. Very hard but many unforgettable and precious experiences.
